What Release Forge does

Release Forge is the artist's release desk. One record for metadata, files, splits, and co-writers, then guided pre-fill into distributors and PROs. It does not submit releases on your behalf.

What it is not

How we use Google

When you connect Google, Release Forge only uses it to:

  • Let you sign in with your Google account
  • Let you pick artwork and audio files from your own Google Drive, through Google's own file picker, to attach to a release

We use the drive.file permission, so we can only ever see the individual files you pick. We cannot browse or read the rest of your Drive, and we never use your Google data for advertising.
